What are some of the most popular areas where homeowners are using granite?

Granite has become very popular over the past 15 years. Granite has become the primary choice for counter top surfaces through out the home.

Can you briefly talk about some of the benefits of granite?

Granite counter tops adds to the natural beauty of your home. Since granite is a natural product every set of counter tops will have its own unique look. Granite is also a green product that is very durable and will hold up in your home for many years.

What are the basic options that people have when it comes to color?

There are many options for granite colors. The basic color options in my opinion will lend themselves to be the more neutral earth tones. This will allow your counter tops to develop and change with your home as you decide to change different aspects of the room as you live in your home.

What is an edge? Can you explain how people should decide on which edge for a particular area?

An edge is the area of the counter top that your body will touch when you lean on the counter top and it will also set the tone for how your counter top will look and feel. When making a choice on the edge detail we always ask how do you want your counter top to look and feel. As some edge details will have a formal look and feel while others will have a more casual look and feel.

Do you have any tips for homeowners about the fabrication process?

It is always important to choose a fabricator that will look out for you as a consumer. How we handle this is we will let you handpick the actual slabs that are used for your job. Before fabrication begins, we also offer a slab layout with the templates. The slab layout process will allow you to see how your kitchen will look before it is installed.
