We have been in the construction industry in NC for 30 years and have been involved with all types of projects from minor service calls to new construction both residential and commercial.

If you leave your roof in disrepair it can lead to much more expensive repairs to plywood and sheetrock as well as the floors, walls and ceilings of your home or business.

How often should my roof receive maintenance?

Once a year it should be inspected but always visually look for damage after a storm.

The new architectural shingles and the galvalum metal roofing are both guaranteed for life.

First step is to ask for an inspection and estimate from a trusted general contractor such as Total Construction.

Most roofs have a 25 year life span so if your roof is close to that it will likely need replacing soon or if it has experienced a lot of events that caused unusual damage.
